SECTION 900 – SUBMITTAL PROCEDURES SUBMITTAL PROCEDURES PART 1 – GENERAL 1.01 Section Summary A. 1.02 General procedures for submitting documentation during the course of the Contract. Sequencing and Scheduling A. Upon receiving submittals, the Engineer will require ten (10) days to review the submittals. A period of fifteen (15) days will be required if an outside consultant must be used. B. Allow enough time for review of the submittal by the Engineer, no Contract Time extension will be granted for failure to transmit submittals in advance of the work. PART 2 – PRODUCTS (Not Used) PART 3 – EXECUTION 3.01 3.02 Contractor’s Construction Schedule A. Submit preliminary schedule and progress schedule at the preconstruction conference consistent with Section 235 of the Specifications. B. At least once a month, provide the Engineer with a revised schedule. Identify areas where progress is ahead or behind schedule. Emergency Contact List A. 3.03 Before work can begin, submit a typed list of 24 hour on-call personnel for the Project. This list shall include all key personnel. Shop Drawings and Manufactures’ Information A. Conform to the general requirements of Section 206 of this Specification, except as modified herein. B. The minimum sheet size shall be 8-1/2 inch x 11 inch. No sizes above 11x17 will be allowed. Non-legible copies will not be reviewed. 2013 City of Minot 1 Section 900 Submittal Procedures C. D. 3.04 2. Date of submission and date of any previous submission. 3. Names of: Contractor, subcontractor, supplier, and manufacturer. 4. Identification of product and Specification Section number. 5. Identification of revisions from previous submittals. 6. A 4x4 inch blank space for the Engineer’s stamp. Engineer will stamp shop drawings and indicate requirements for Contractor’s review or resubmittal as follows: 1. No Exception Taken 2. Make Corrections as Noted 3. Revise and Resubmit 4. Rejected See Remarks Conform to the requirements of Section 1400 of this Specification. Submit 1 copy of all inspections, tests, and approvals required in the Specification. Operation and Maintenance Manuals A. 3.05 Submit a minimum of 2 copies of shop drawings, plus the amount of copies the Contractor wants returned.
