The course embraces both theory and practical. Course content: Course content year 3 • Unit 602 Understanding environmental legislation, working practices and the principles of environmental technology systems • Unit 608 Understanding the principles, practices and legislation for diagnosing and correcting electrical faults in electro-technical systems and equipment in buildings, structures and the environment • Unit 609 Understanding the electrical principles associated with the design, building, installation and maintenance of electrical equipment and systems Facilities for students: This course is based at the Main Campus for City College in the heart of Brighton. The Electrical Section is in a purpose-built unit, with well-equipped workshop facilities. There is a main library, computer rooms, excellent food, chill out areas and lots more.
