Defending your life This film displays the Socratic idea that the unexamined life is not worth living. Unfortunately for Daniel, his examination (Judgment) happens after his death. If you knew you had to defend your life, would you choose to live life differently, in what ways? What motivates us for the actions we do? Why don’t we always do the right thing? Do we let fear run our lives? What are we (you) afraid of? In examining your life what scenes would you like to see, what would you not like to see again? Why would you choose or not choose those scenes? If you got sent back to Earth and could give your returning soul one piece of advice, what would it be?
