The Plasma Membrane
You are to complete no less than 5 drawings demonstrating the modes of transport across the plasma
membrane. They are osmosis ( hypo, hyper and isotonicity), diffusion, facilitated diffusion, active
transport and cytosis (exocytosis, endocytosis and pinocytosis). They must be in color, on white paper
and correctly labeled in the format previously given for scientific drawings. Also you must include a 1-2
page typed summary of each mode of transport and how they work. You may use the pictures in your
text to assist you in drawing (no tracing)
