Dear Parent/ Guardian,
Welcome! I am Ms. Piscopo and I have the pleasure of being one of your
child’s Health and Physical Education Teacher. I am a graduate with my
Masters of Arts in Health and Physical Education PREK-12 from James Madison
University. This is my fourth year teaching and first year at Lowes Island
Elementary.
I believe that Physical and Health Education teaches students valuable lifelong
lessons. Physical activity challenges the mind and body, while health provides
awareness of the surrounding world. My role is to introduce and support
healthy habits at a young age so that your child can carry them forward into
their lives.
My classroom will focus on individual improvement and the process rather
than just the end product. I value every student’s unique voice and encourage
his/her opinion and feedback. I look forward to getting to know your child.
