Build an Electrical Switch
Equipment:
See attached diagram of layout.
Here are the materials you will need to purchase to practice:
(one) 15 amp light switch any color (.54 at Lowes)
(one) ceiling light socket ($1.34 at Lowes)
(one) plastic handy box (.83 at Lowes)
(one) light bulb
(one) switch cover any color (.35 at Lowes)

enough red wire caps (at least 3…$2.58 for pack of 25)
5 to 10 feet of 14 romex wire ($6.67 at Lowes)
The connections need to be created exactly like the diagram or the ligh
Procedure:
There will be NO POWER present until after the Pathfinder is
done with the connections. Then the event volunteer will check
layout. The volunteer will turn the power on to the board and
allow the Pathfinder to turn the light switch on, and lighting up
the bulb.
Scoring:
1 point – entry
1 point for each correct connection (3 total)
1 point for the bulb lighting up
