Early Release Day Wednesday at
11am
Your students are doing a wonderful job in
first grade so far. We are learning about
what it means to be a leader and we are
practicing working independently. You
might have noticed your child coming home
with number on their behavior sheet from
time to time. The letter meanings are
located on the calendar we sent home and
also on the inside of their homework folder.

Leader In Me:
This week we are working on
Habit 2: Begin with the End in
Mind. We will be talking about
what it means to make a goal
and a plan for how to reach your
goal.

Reading / Language Arts:
We will be spending time practicing
building our reading stamina and working
on our sight words and writing complete
sentences. We are also working on
characters and character traits.
Math:
Reading 3D:
This week we will continue
Reading 3D testing. Our goal is
to finish this week! Be looking
for more information to come.
We will be working on writing,
manipulating, and recognizing numbers 1120 this week. We will also be practicing
building numbers using a tens frame.
