Please make sure students practice their words a little each night. Read-a-thon is coming up! Please make sure to read the flyer very carefully. We are doing all of the reading in school to this year to help out. We also have a new online donation system to help family members and friends make donations. Math Facts: For the third quarter, students will have 3 minutes to complete 50 addition or subtraction problems to 20. *Continue to practice Math facts at home. Content: SOL 2.1: The student will explain how the contributions of ancient China and Egypt have influenced the present world in terms of architecture, inventions, the calendar, and written language.
