Stories From Your Family:
This week, have a discussion with your parents and ask them to retell a story from their
lives that left an impression with them. Have them retell the story for you so that you in
turn can retell the story for the group. Ask your mom, dad, and two other family
members to share one such story with you. Your assignment is to retell the stories from
your family with the group next time. You may take some notes and use them, but I do
want you to retell the stories with detail without writing the stories out completely.
