LESSON TOPIC:Absolutism East and West

UNDERSTANDING GOALS (CONCEPTS):

Students will understand: Students will understand the basic tenents of Absolutism as well as its development in the three great Eastern European Monarchies.

Students will compare its development there to its development in Westen Europe. Students will also understand the social movement of the

Enlightenenment and its social implications on society.

Romanovs, Czar, Czarina, enlightenemnt, Despot, and other vocabulary over the next 3 weeks.
