Adam D. Schurle Experience Adam Schurle is a tax attorney based in the firm’s Minneapolis office. He provides counsel on a variety of federal, state and local tax issues, including entity formation, corporate mergers and acquisitions, transactions involving partnerships, S corporations, limited liability companies and other pass-through entities, tax aspects of compensation arrangements, and tax controversy matters. Adam also advises companies and individuals on estate and gift taxes, employment taxes and international taxation. A significant portion of Adam’s practice is focused on tax advice for cooperatives, both exempt and non-exempt. He has advised these clients on organizational and transactional aspects of cooperative tax law, including restructuring issues and maintenance of tax-exempt status. Associate Adam regularly assists clients engaged in the energy and oil and gas industries. He has worked with energy developers, owners and investors on wind, solar, geothermal, Minneapolis, MN municipal solid waste and biomass projects. He helps these clients qualify for federal, (612) 373-8814 direct state and local tax incentives and implement transaction structures that maximize the value of those incentives. Adam advises oil and gas companies on issues relating to cost and percentage depletion and IDCs.
