Ryan S. Kunkel Experience Ryan Kunkel is an associate in Stoel Rives’ Portland office. He is a member of the firm’s Labor & Employment Group and concentrates his practice on traditional labor issues and employment litigation and counseling. While in law school, Ryan served as a law clerk at the Lewis & Clark Legal Clinic, a judicial extern for the United States District Court for the District of Oregon, a law clerk for the Oregon Department of Justice and a law clerk for the Portland State University Office of the General Counsel. In addition, Ryan was a summer associate at Stoel. Prior to joining the firm, Ryan worked as a legislative assistant for Congressman Earl Blumenauer, where he advised the Congressman on a variety of legislative issues.
