American culture has become too sensitive towards comedy. One ‘dirty’ joke and you’re crucified for being callous or ignorant or in bad taste. I disagree. I think we need comedy, and sometimes it needs to be dirty. I wrote this play to poke fun at some aspects of our culture that I find ridiculous. It’s an absurd, hilarious world we live, so why not laugh at it. And if we see things differently because we’re laughing, isn’t that worth something? I think so. I wrote the script, but none of this would have been possible without the assistance of Dawson Nichols and Dan Schuy. They saw something in this play and I’m thankful they did. Also, I owe a lot to the wonderful cast and crew. I’m lucky to have some of my best friends in the world in this show. I’m funny, but they’re funnier. I love you all. Enjoy the show!
