Parents,
Last week, we continued our unit on biographies by focusing on President Lincoln and
President George Washington. After reading two articles on each person, we practiced
writing and discussing information using both sources. Students will be asked on their state
test to create a response using multiple sources. In math, we continued our unit on
fractions. Students were asked to find fractions on a number line. They also explored
fractions as part of a group.
We will resume spelling and vocabulary. Please look for the vocabulary words that go
home on Mondays.
Ready A-Z Ready Test: Please remember to have students take at least one test per week.
A great thank you to Mrs. Farrell for making our Dr. Seuss auction basket. Also, a thank
you to those that donated items.
