Objective: The student will complete a spreadsheet and create charts to help in
determining the best option for moving from one city to another.
Process:
 See the handout “The Cost of the Move Unit 3”
 Students may work individually or in groups of 2 or 3 to create the spreadsheet
and complete the data and charts.
 Students will analyze the data and make a decision on the course of action based
on the analysis.
 Students will write a paragraph on how the spreadsheet and charts helped the
decision.
