Administration
Attendance is required at all class sessions . Homework will be assigned after each lecture and will be collected approximately once a week. Some homework/project assignments will require the use of mathematical software MathCad . No later homework/project will be accepted and papers turned in should be stapled together. Quiz will be given approximately once a week. No makeup for quiz will be given . I will drop two lowest scores.
There will be TWO (2) tests plus a final.
Final test will be comprehensive. If you should ever miss any test, you must let me know in advance . Only those with a strong reason may be allowed to have a makeup test.
Resource Online: There are many web sites offer free online help material that can enhance your understanding of concepts of calculus. For example, you can get help on
MathCad from http://www.mathsoft.com/ . It contains online help for MathCad and student works done in MathCad and other helpful material. You can also visit my website http://www.unf.edu/~mzhan where I have posted short tutorial materials.
