supervision. Ralph is elected chief. What is the beastie? Jack hunts and kills a pig. Things start to break
apart. Simon dies. Piggy meets his demise. The conch explodes into powder. Ralph narrowly escapes
his death. What is next for the boys on the island? Your task is to write the next chapter to Golding’s
Lord of the Flies. What do you think Golding would have in store for the continuation of the novel?
What happens to Ralph and Jack? How will Roger cope with the murder of Piggy? Will the boys ever
fully understand the murder of young, innocent Simon?
