Cheddar Cheese Biscuits DAY 1: 2c Flour 1T sugar 1T baking powder 2t garlic powder ½ t salt 1 c milk 1T lemon juice ½ c margarine, melted 1c shredded cheddar cheese Directions: 1. Measure your milk, add the lemon juice and let stand 2 minutes 2. Combine all dry ingredients in one bowl and stir together 3. In a plastic bowl, melt the margarine in the microwave (1 minute) 4. Add the melted margarine to the milk and whisk to combine 5. Pour the milk mixture over the dry ingredients and stir using a rubber scrapper JUST UNTIL MOISTENED. Fold in the cheese – DO NOT OVER MIX 6. Using the rubber scrapper, scrape all your dough into a sheet of plastic wrap and cover. Day 2: STEP 1: Preheat your oven to 450 degrees. STEP 2: Remove the dough from the plastic wrap and roughly divide the dough into 10 equal pieces. Place on a baking sheet and bake for 10-12 minutes or until golden brown STEP 3: While biscuits are baking, in a small bowl place 3T margarine. Melt the margarine for about 1 minute in the microwave then add 1T Parsley and ½ t garlic powder, stir together STEP 4: Once out of the oven brush each biscuit with the garlic mixture and enjoy!
