HFC ART DEPARTMENT GRADE EXPECTATION SHEET

Course: Drawing and Painting
1) Class Rules:
a) Students are required to follow all school rules.
b) Students should be seated and ready to work when the bell rings.
c) Students are required to keep all work areas clean and orderly.
d) Students are required to sit in assigned seats.
e) It is the responsibility of the absent student to find out classwork and homework
missed.
2) The student must bring the following to class each day:
Box of No. 2 pencils, 2 large erasers, 9x12 spiral sketchpad, large portfolio
for storing artwork, 2 fine or ultra fine permanent black markers (Sharpie brand
suggested). Optional supplies that are good to have include: 12 inch ruler, box of
colored pencils, hand sharpeners, pencil case.
3) Homework is assigned once a week.
4) Grade Policy: Classwork/Tests: 70%, Participation 20%, Homework 10%
5) Extra help hours will be posted in the departmental offices, and parent contact
will be made as needed.
