To achieve success in Mathematics this year you should practice and abide by the following:
I.
Classroom Rules:
 Students are to arrive to class on time.
 Students are to be seated, with their homework on their desk, while working on the do now exercise when the
bell rings.
 Respectful behavior to everyone in the class will be demanded at all times.
 If you are absent, it is your responsibility to get class notes and homework assignments. If you miss a test or
quiz it is your responsibility to see me to come up with a time and location to make it up.
 NO CELL PHONES are to be seen or heard in the classroom.
II.
Students MUST bring the following to class everyday:
 A gray (or white) loose-leaf binder to be used ONLY for math.
 Loose-leaf & Graph Paper
 Pens, Pencils, Ruler
 Graphing Calculator (TI-83 or 84 plus)****MANDATORY*****
III.
Homework:
 Homework will be assigned at least 4 nights a week.

Extra Help:
 Extra help will be before school at 7:30 am. I can be found at the math department, which is Room 341.
Additional extra help is available for students; all they have to do is ASK!

This class is needed to earn a third credit of mathematics which is needed to graduate high school.
VIII.
Students will NEED a graphing calculator to achieve success in Trigonometry. The school store is selling
calculators at a discounted price or they can be purchased at any local supply store. Have students place
his/her name on multiple parts of this calculator. Calculators will NOT be provided in the classroom.
