My name is Katharine, I’m from Germany, and I am doing a pre-PhD course at the
University. I really like about Nottingham that there is so many events going on! If
one event is over the next one is already coming up, so for example, in summer
there was a beach festival with volleyball tournaments and salsa, and then there was
a riverside festival with fireworks, game conventions, international markets, and
there always something you can go to. And it’s not just in the summer but also in the
winter, the upcoming Christmas market that I’m really looking forward to. And there’s
great shopping possible here at the city centre, there’s big shopping centre with 100
of stores and all around the city centre. It’s amazing.
