WHEREAS: Article VI, Section 1 of the Pittsburg State University Student Government
Association Constitution states "The Association shall have at least two (2) advisors who shall be
appointed for a period of one (1) year commencing at the beginning of the Senate term;" AND
WHEREAS: SubsectionA of Article VI, Section 1 mandates that "One [be] appointed by the
University President;" AND
WHEREAS: Dr. Erwin has a significant amount of knowledge and experience in advising
Student Government;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PITTSBURG STATE UNIVERSITY STUDENT
SENATE HERE ASSEMBLED: That we affirm Dr. Scott's appointment of Dr. Steve Erwin as
one of Student Government Association's advisors.
