WHEREAS: SGA is here to provide to the needs of our students and hear their voices; AND
WHEREAS: It has been deemed necessary for a committee to be established to survey the
student body on whatever SGA is questioning. This committee shall be responsible for
conducting surveys, doing research, gathering student opinion, analyzing data and reporting it to
the senate; AND
WHEREAS: This committee shall have no more than ten (6) representatives, which can be any
member of the association, to meet upon the will of the committee chair, a senator nominated by
senate, and approved with a 2/3rds vote of the senate;
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PITTSBURG STATE UNIVERSITY STUDENT
SENATE HERE ASSEMBLED: The Research Committee hereby be established with the
Appointed Senator serving as the chairman of the committee.
