Topic: Fee Council Reserves
WHEREAS: The Pittsburg State University Student Government needs a computer capable of
meeting the needs of our Public Relations Director; AND
WHEREAS: A computer capable of meeting our Public Relations Director’s needs will cost
approximately $2,400; AND
WHEREAS: Due to the financial burden this would place on the Student Government
Association budget for the 2015-2016 Academic Year, a Fee Council session was called; AND
WHEREAS: Statute III: Fee Council, Section 8. Contingency Appropriations laid out the manner
in which this hearing was held; AND
WHEREAS: Fee Council has approved the request to withdraw $2,400 from the Fee Council
Reserve Account that currently sits at over $200,000,
THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED BY THE PITTSBURG STATE UNIVERSITY STUDENT
SENATE HERE ASSEMBLED: That we approve the withdrawal of $2,400 from the Fee
Council Reserve Account to provide the Pittsburg State University Student Government
Association Public Relation’s Director with an appropriate computer.
