Dean’s Report (1:05 – 1:15)
Collective Impact Project. Tuesday October 13, 2015 12-1pm in KELL 5400 During the
hour-long meeting, we will discuss the following: What is collective impact? Models of
collective impact? A CEHHS model of collective impact? Step One: Data Variables and
Data Sets First major milestone.
The promise project is a partnering project where a neighborhood is chosen and the
CEHHS will bring resouces to that area.
It was voted that the search committee for the new SOE director will be 3 full professors.

As a Governance Community, we agreed that we would:
• Be considerate of other’s ideas • Stay on the topic of discussion • Focus on identifiable tasks • Have variation in the meeting format to provide for some group work •
Divide the agenda into action and information items • Prep ahead of time for the issues that will be discussed at Governance • Help establish quorum by being on time •
Maintain a sense of team by staying issue focused when we disagree • Make sure procedures are clear • Voice opinion in room • Note what the procedural process is up

SOE Website Content Writing Task (1.30 – 2:30)

Melinda will be new website admin with support from Sinem. It is scheduled to go live Oct 12, 2015.
Everyone should email Sinem and Melinda with website information. The School of Education website
will be used as an example for the rest of the campus. In January a new template will go live but
the transition will be seamless. SOE programs worked together during CC to get program information
on line.
