New Business (10 minutes per item, 1 minute per comment, 2 comments per person maximum) 5.1 – Presentation - Jo Ann Higdon The Senate will listen to a presentation on the budget. 5.2 – Banquet - Rebekka Asher/ Melina Mossberg The Senate will be reminded/updated on the banquet. 5.3 – Hair Donation Drive –Brooke Matson The Senate will sign up to help with the Hair Donation Drive. 5.4 – Finance Items – Kenji Tomoda/Rebekka Asher The Senate will vote to ratify the following finance items approved at the AS Finance Committee (04/04/2012): 5.4.1 Allocate up to $272.51 from Student Rep Fee Advocacy (72-55714-836115) for the reimbursement for Breanna von Stein for cancelled DC hotels. 5.4.2 Allocate up to $3000 from AS Year End Banquet (71-836110) for the ASO Banquet. 5.4.3 Approval of $300 from the NSEW Account (71-836413) to be transferred into the ASO Awards Account to cover the monetary award if there is a tie for one or more of the awards. 5.4.4 Allocate up to $200 from Elections Account (71-836102) for ASO Elections. 5.4.5 Allocate up to $150 from General Division (71-836365) to fund the Natural Science Cancer Awareness Event. 5.5 – Appointments – Rebekka Asher The Senate will consider the following appointments: 5.5.1 Priscilla Young Position: Student at Large 5.5.2 Nathan Woffard Position: Director of Student and Community Advancement 5.5.3 Ian Lei Chan Position: Commissioner of Finance 5.5.4 Karla Marmolejo Position: Commissioner of Fine Arts 5.6 – General Assembly – Rebekka Asher The Senate will be informed about the Spring General Assembly.
