Outcome 2 Design assessment activities. Evidence requirements 2.1 Assessment activities reflect known qualities of effective assessment. Range 2.2 known qualities of effective assessment may include – reliability, validity, sufficiency, clarity of language, student involvement in monitoring own learning. Criteria by which assessment activities are to be assessed are established consistent with the requirements of the activity. Outcome 3 Manage assessment. Evidence requirements 3.1 Student performance on activities is assessed consistent with established criteria. Range 6.2 strengths and limitations may include – nature of evidence, impact on learner and learning, impact on teacher, gender inclusiveness, cultural appropriateness, influence of context, relationship to best practice assessment guidelines. A minimum of three strengths and limitations must be evaluated. Evaluation suggests possibilities for future assessment practices.
