Range: machines may include but are not limited to - geared, gearless traction types; fastening methods may include but are not limited to - welding, bolting, expansion bolting, grouting, chemical bolting. 2.2 Sheaves are installed and adjusted in accordance with the drawing, manufacturers’ specifications and worksite procedure. 2.3 Controllers are installed and adjusted in accordance with the drawing, manufacturers’ specifications and worksite procedure. Range: alignment is - between the driving sheave and secondary or diverter sheave; sheaves to car and counterweight centre lines; vertical alignment of sheave and roping system; and alignment based on vertical, horizontal, and intercomponent centrelines. performance criteria 3.1 Measurements for the alignment of sheaves and machines are identified from the plan according to worksite procedure. 3.2 Measurements are made and marked in accordance with the plan and worksite procedure. 3.3 Rotating equipment is aligned in accordance with the plan and measurement marks, and secured in place within specification tolerances. 3.4 Component parts of the rotating equipment are checked for alignment and compliance with the plan. 3.5 Equipment is re-aligned where required and irregularities fixed or reported, according to worksite procedure. Equipment is re-aligned where required and irregularities fixed or reported, according to worksite procedure. element 5 Carry out completion work for lift machine room equipment. performance criteria 5.1 Work is completed and relevant parties notified, in accordance with agreed plan and according to worksite procedure.
