board dimensions and specifications and carry out checks; take
corrective action when incorrect dimensions or specifications
are identified; and complete documentation.

Explanatory notes

All workplace practices must meet any applicable and recognised codes of practice,
and documented workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures for
personal, product, workplace health, safety, and environmental matters, and the
obligations required under current law including the Health and Safety in Employment
Act 1992, Hazardous Substances and New Organisms Act 1996, Resource
Management Act 1991, Privacy Act 1993 and their subsequent amendments.

Outcomes and evidence requirements
Outcome 1
Confirm board dimensions and specifications and carry out checks.
Evidence requirements
1.1
Board length and width, and paper type and configuration are confirmed against
production documentation.
1.2
Location of all creases is confirmed against production documentation.
1.3
Confirmation and specification checks are carried out in accordance with
workplace practices immediately a new production run is commenced.
1.4
Production speed is maintained without interruption during confirmation and
specification checks, except where incorrect dimensions or specifications are
identified.
1.5
All special checks are carried out in accordance with workplace practices.

special checks may include but are not limited to – International
Organisation for Standardisation (ISO), customer specific,
machine operating manual.
Outcome 2
Take corrective action when incorrect dimensions or specifications are identified.
Evidence requirements
2.1
Incorrect dimensions or specifications are identified and corrective action is
taken in accordance with workplace practices.
Outcome 3
Complete documentation.
Evidence requirements
3.1
Pallets are labelled for easy identification in accordance with workplace
practices.
3.2
Job documentation is completed in accordance with workplace practices.
