The requirements for an industrial or commercial catering solution are scoped in
consultation with the customer in accordance with company procedures and
industry accepted technical practices.

comparisons prepared in accordance with company procedures and industry
accepted technical practices.

Performance criteria
2.1
Catalogues and vendor brochures are researched to determine available
equipment range.
2.2
Equipment suppliers are approached to determine equipment suitability and
availability for the proposed solution.

Gas supply details, usage patterns, metering requirements, and other network
design parameters needed to meet customer requirements are determined in
accordance with company procedures.

Outside contractors are liaised with to determine design and installation
requirements in accordance with company procedures.

Proposed solution to meet customer requirements is consistent with
organisation profit margins, is accurate and complete, and is agreed by
authorised persons according to company procedures.

Providers must be accredited by the Qualifications Authority, or an inter-institutional body
with delegated authority for quality assurance, before they can report credits from
assessment against unit standards or deliver courses of study leading to that assessment.
Industry Training Organisations must be accredited by the Qualifications Authority before
they can register credits from assessment against unit standards.

Accredited providers and Industry Training Organisations assessing against unit standards
must engage with the moderation system that applies to those standards.
