Evidence requirements 1.1 Crusher pre-start checks are carried out in accordance with company policy and industry best practice. Range 1.2 may include but is not limited to – crushers clear of materials; drive belts, lubrication, safety guards, warning signals, oil levels, greasing, water spray system. A visual check is conducted on machinery to identify mechanical problems in accordance with company policy and industry best practice. Outcome 2 Test plant operation and check settings. Evidence requirements 2.1 Crushing plant is sequentially started in accordance with company procedures. 2.2 Conveyors, screens, and other ancillary equipment are operated in accordance with manufacturer’s specifications and plant configuration. 2.3 Material is test-crushed through plant and product is checked for compliance with specifications. Range emergency procedures, hazards, blockages, machinery defects, lighting, work area preparation, safety rules and regulations. Outcome 4 Complete shut-down procedures and maintenance checks.
