Evidence requirements 1.1 The reason for adjustment is identified in accordance with company procedures. Range product type, wear and tear on crusher. 1.2 Required adjustment is identified in accordance with manufacturer’s operating manual. 1.3 Remaining adjustment is checked in accordance with machine operating records. Outcome 2 Immobilise crushing plant for extractive industries. Evidence requirements 2.1 Lock-out system is engaged, switches are tagged, work area is cleaned and procedures are communicated. 2.2 Safety equipment is worn and proper tools are used in accordance with industry best practice. Outcome 3 This unit standard is Evidence requirements expiring 3.1 Crusher is prepared for adjustment in accordance with operating manual. Implement cone crusher adjustment for extractive industries. 3.2 Cone crusher’s locking devices are released in accordance with operating manual. 3.3 Required adjustments are carried out in accordance with operating manual. 3.4 Cone crusher’s locking devices are reinstated in accordance with operating manual. 3.5 Cone crusher’s lock-out system is reversed in accordance with operating manual.
