This unit standard is for supervisors and compliance staff who
are employed in a meat processing operation and required to
have in-depth knowledge of the processing of by-products.
People credited with this unit standard are able to demonstrate
knowledge of: MIS 7 and by-product requirements for a meat
processing operation; and the outcomes of non-compliance
with MIS 7.

Industry Training Organisations must be granted consent to assess against standards by
NZQA before they can register credits from assessment against unit standards.

which are assessing against unit standards must engage with the moderation system that
applies to those standards.
