This unit standard is for supervisors and compliance staff who
are employed in a meat processing operation and required to
have in-depth knowledge of the processing of edible product.
People credited with this unit standard are able to demonstrate
knowledge of: MIS 6 and processing of edible product
requirements for a meat processing operation; and the
outcomes of non-compliance with MIS 6.

NZQA before they can register credits from assessment against unit standards.
Providers and Industry Training Organisations, which have been granted consent and
which are assessing against unit standards must engage with the moderation system that
applies to those standards.
