Memo To: Jowel Laguerre, Ph.D. Chancellor From: Planning and Budgeting Council Date: February 4, 2016 Re: 2015-2016 Allocations for Deferred and Scheduled Maintenance At its January 29, 2016 meeting, the Planning and Budgeting Council (PBC) reviewed and endorsed the allocation of 2015- 2016 state funds for deferred and scheduled maintenance as proposed by the District Facilities Committee and the Department of General Services. Attached is the spreadsheet submitted to the PBC by VC Ikharo. However, due to concerns about the amount of time taken in the past to complete similar projects, after lengthy discussion, the PBC passed the following motion: “Moved to adopt/endorse the proposed scheduled maintenance projects (version 2), updated on November 17, 2015, with priority to those items ranked health and safety concerns, based upon District Facilities Recommendations which used an established rubric. The PBC will receive a timeline for completion of the projects.” The PBC is forwarding this information to you for review and action.
