Tuition and Fee Consultation Process
• President Staples held two town hall meetings for students and
members of the Planning and Budget Committee (PBC) in March
• Tuition and Fee requesters made presentations at two combined
meetings of PBC and Student Government Association (SGA)
• Student Government Association voted support or non-support on
each item requested.
• PBC held two additional meetings to discuss proposed items and made
a recommendation for approval to University Council (a university
shared governance committee chaired by President Staples)
• University Council approved tuition and fee proposals at its April
meeting
