Definition

Evidence requirements
1.1
Compliance officers’ powers in relation to ordering vehicles off the road are
described in accordance with section 68BA of the Transport Act 1962, and
sections 248 and 249 of the Land Transport Act 1998.

Outcome 2
Describe operating and safety procedures when ordering vehicles off the road.
Evidence requirements
2.1
The reason for ordering the vehicle off the road is explained in accordance
terms of section 248 of the Land Transport Act 1998 and its subsequent
amendments.
2.2
Operating procedures are described in terms of the method of ordering the
vehicle off the road, tow fees, vehicle relocation, and in accordance with the
relevant legislation, and organisational requirements.
2.3
Evidential requirements are explained in accordance with organisational
requirements.
2.4
Safety procedures are explained in accordance with organisational
requirements
