Elements and performance criteria Element 1 Describe production trailer boat hull and deck join details. Performance criteria 2.1 Hull is supported in accordance with workplace practice. Range 2.2 not twisted, secure. Deck is dry fitted in accordance with workplace practice. Range flanges match correctly, glass thickness and width of flanges is consistent, alignment and gap is consistent. 2.3 Correct adhesive is selected in accordance with workplace practice. 2.4 Correct fastenings are selected in accordance with workplace practice. 2.5 Deck is bonded, fastened, and glassed to hull in accordance with workplace practice. 2.6 Deck edge is trimmed and finished in accordance with workplace practice. Performance criteria 3.1 Rubbing strip is attached in accordance with workplace practice. Industry Training Organisations must be accredited by the Qualifications Authority before they can register credits from assessment against unit standards.
