Outcome 2 Mix and thin protective coatings. Range single pack, two pack. Evidence requirements 2.1 Mixing instructions for protective coatings, including temperature range, are confirmed in accordance with Product Data Sheets. 2.2 Special handling precautions for protective coatings are confirmed in accordance with Safety Data Sheets. 2.3 Personal protective clothing and equipment for mixing protective coatings are fitted and worn in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions and company procedures. 2.4 Surrounding area is protected against splashing and spilling of protective coating in accordance with company procedures. 2.5 Protective coating is mixed and strained in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions. 2.6 Protective coating is thinned in accordance with manufacturer’s instructions. 2.7 Empty protective coating containers are disposed of in accordance with company procedures. Outcome 3 Document and label mixes of protective coatings. Range two coatings. Evidence requirements 3.1 Mixing of protective coating is documented in accordance with company procedures. Leftover protective coating is sealed, labelled, and dated prior to storage in accordance with company procedures.
