protective coating operation; and identify, report, and
implement corrective actions for an abrasive blasting and

Evidence requirements
1.1
Personal protective equipment is fitted and worn in accordance with
manufacturer’s instructions and company procedures.
1.2
Inspection and/or safety checklist is completed and recorded in accordance with
company procedures and HSE Regulations Parts 1 and 2.
1.3
Audit checks that a job safety analysis was completed in accordance with
company procedures.
Range
first aid and emergency precautions, set-up of the job, equipment,
working conditions, effect on environment;
may include – permits, access equipment.
1.4
Audit checks that reassessment of job safety analysis was conducted in
accordance with company procedures.
1.5
Audit checks that identified hazards were inspected in the workplace and rated
for their potential to cause injury in accordance with the HSE Act.
1.6
Safety audit is recorded in accordance with company procedures.
Range
1.7
recording includes but is not limited to – inspection checklist, jobsafety analysis, hazard identification, hazard rating.
Results of safety audit are reported to relevant personnel in accordance with
company procedures.
Outcome 2
Identify, report, and implement corrective actions for an abrasive blasting and protective
coating operation.
Evidence requirements
2.1
Corrective actions are identified and recorded in accordance with company
procedures.
2.2
Corrective actions are implemented in accordance with company procedures.
2.3
Safety outcomes from the implemented corrective actions are monitored and
any non-compliance is reported for further action in accordance with company
procedures.
