Position Description for Coatings Chemist
Coatings Research Group, Inc. is an international association of
architectural paint manufacturers with an applied R&D laboratory in
Independence, OH, near Cleveland. CRGI is an ISO 17025 accredited
laboratory. We are seeking an experienced coatings chemist whose
responsibilities include:
Formulating, making, and testing paint at the bench
Solving problems through data analysis
Writing project reports
Updating the website and database
Communicating with CRGI member companies on a daily basis
Working with the Quality Manager to maintain the ISO 17025
Accreditation
Requirements:
Experience in coatings formulation a plus
Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry or related field
Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, and Outlook
Excellent writing and communications skills
Strong commitment to customer service
Permanent residence in the United States
