I can analyze resistance to imperial control in the colonies as a result of experiences with selfgovernment, local ideas of liberty, the Enlightenment, and diversity. Class Discussion: The Beginnings of the French and Indian War- Students will discuss the events that led to the outbreak of the Seven Years War. 3. Review Activity: 6 Degrees of Separation- Students will participate in a group activity to review Period 2 content. Students will be given 2 dates: 1607 and 1754. Then, students must select 6 events/developments in chronological order that connect the two dates.
