This event provides an educational day for students with a medieval studies bias. All the
teachers are volunteers chosen from their respective fields for their knowledge and
talents. It is generally composed of six tracks of one to two hour classes. Classes have in
the past included: How to make Roman style fibulas, Making a T-Tunic, medieval
heraldry, medieval calligraphy, medieval dance, book binding, sewing, how to run a
medieval type event, and beginning metalsmithing. The event is open to everyone. It is
requested that people attempt to wear pre-sixteenth century clothing. Some pre-sixteenth
century clothes will be available for loan on the day of the event. The event is free with
the exception of material or hand out fees from some teachers. These fees are not for
profit and are only gathered by the teachers to cover material costs.
