Welcome to Mrs. Batts’ (Perry) Retailing class!
Retailing Course Overview
Real Life Math. Real Life Skills. This course provides the student with a comprehensive view of retailing and an application
of marketing concepts in a practical retail managerial environment. The course focuses on the management and operational
aspects of a retail business.
Classroom and School Store Expectations
We will enjoy ourselves and accomplish more if we have an organized classroom environment in which everyone feels welcome and
respected. We can make this happen as long as we all follow these expectations: Everyone will use courtesy, respect, and appropriate
language in class and in the school store.

Punctuality is important! Getting to the school store on time allows our teachers, students and staff at Reagan High School the full
advantage of our service and products, and it shows respect for the customers.

I am confident that all of you can meet these expectations. If for any reason they are not met, I will first discuss the problem with you and
we will try to resolve it together. If the problem persists, we will seek the involvement of adults who support you at Reagan High School
(parents/guardians, coaches, principals).

Leadership and Responsibity: 10%
