Course Overview:
Theatre Arts: This class is an introduction to the language, the techniques,
and the different styles of theatre
General Expectations: The students are expected to PERFORM simple
acting exercises in front of the class. They must learn the basic vocabulary
of the theatre. The students must learn theatre etiquette and be able to
memorize a sonnet and monologue. Try new things!
RULES: NO ELECTRONICS

ONE PERSON SPEAKS AT A TIME
NO FOOD OR DRINK (EXCEPT WATER)
Required Texts/Materials: students need a pen or pencil and a notebook .
Textbook is supplied by school
Course Outline: Mr. Miller’s theatre class begins with improvisation
exercises, memory assignments and culminates every 6 weeks in a class
performance.
Grading:
There is usually 3 grades per week so attendance is important . All
grades are equal
