Employees' turnover intention : a leadership issue? Abstract : Many organizations have this problem in retaining their good employees. Many methods have also been used to overcome this problem but this issue can never go away easily. This paper tries to explore a possible factor that can give great impact to turnover intention of employees in an organization. Base on a review of the literature, majority of the studies had identified a negative relationship between leadership style and employees’ turnover intention in various fields of industries. Transformational and transactional leadership styles might be one of the effective solutions for organizations who has high employees’ turnover.
