About I-Shou University
International College
I-Shou University, established in 1986, is located
at east foothill of Guanyin Mountain, northeast of
southern Taiwan's major harbor city－Kaohsiung.
The university currently has 8 colleges with almost
16,000 students. Apart from its modern and
functional campus, I-Shou University is also
known for its natural environment. The campus
has a wide range of facilities. In 2010, the
Webmetrics Ranking of World Universities
ranked I-Shou University 9th out of 153 accredited
universities in Taiwan, and number 1 among
private universities in Taiwan.

LC-ISU offers a variety of intensive language
courses including session courses, Chinese
camp and customized courses, to develop
Chinese language skills for social, cultural and
personal enrichment.

Chinese courses: Beginner, Basic, Intermediate,
Advanced
Elective courses: Standard Pronunciation,

The intensive program provides courses for
students to improve their skills in Chinese
listening, speaking, reading, and writing. In
addition, the cultural courses and field trips are
available for participants to experience the
lifestyle of Taiwan.
