FINAL CULMINATING ACTIVITY
INTRODUCTION
The purpose of the final project is to provide students with the opportunity to demonstrate the Comtech
skills they have developed over the course of the semester.
Students may work in groups of 2 or individually. Each student must take full responsibility for meeting all
the requirements and expectations of the final project. For students who choose to work in groups of 2, it
is absolutely imperative that each member takes an active role and works co-operatively in completing all
aspects of the project.
Choice of 1 of 2
1. Create a short video, minimum of 5 minutes. The video can be an
Instructional video incorporating other technology courses such as
Comtech, Auto, Hospitality, Cosmetology, Construction, and Computer
Studies.
2. Create an edited film using existing footage (talk to instructor)
(A poster to promote the film must accompany all the films.)
Your assignment will contain 2 parts. The first part is to create a video or edit and existing video. The
video will be the same length as the song and will have the following:

The second part will be creating a 30 second animation. The animation will be for an opening credit
sequence for the video. It will include the movie name, a production company name, and the people that
star in the movie.
