Unit 2 Green Screen Assignment –Cross Curricular TOTAL / 40 Name: ________________________________ Parent/Guardian Signature: ________________________________ Green Screen Assignment (Heroes and Villains Trailer) Each student will be responsible for creating a 30 second video that will incorporate a green screen special effect. The green screen effect will need to be created in Final Cut Express. You will create a trailer 30 seconds in length. The trailer is based on heroes and villains that we’ve discussed in class, the theme of good versus evil. The trailer must in corporate original music which will be provided by Mr. Lamorte’s class. As well, actors from Ms. Todd’s Grade 12 drama class will be providing their acting expertise during period 1. This assignment is a cross curricular assignment and it will be marked only on the criteria stated below. The video that you will create will need to have a story line and it must have a beginning and an end with credits. All music must be original and all videos and photos must have permission forms signed if you are going to video tape or use photos from students outside this class. All students must hand in individual trailers, students can work together during filming however each trailer must be different. If you have any questions please feel free to come see me.
