ACADEMIC CHALLENGE TEAMS TAKE TOP
AWARDS IN ACADEMIC SUPER BOWL
Two Lee Burneson Middle School Academic Challenge teams finished first and
second at the Educational Service Center of Cuyahoga County’s Academic
Super Bowl. They competed against 14 teams from seven different school
districts on April 9. Teams answered questions in three rounds against other
schools and against a time limit.
Earlier, on March 31, the LBMS Academic Challenge team finished third in the
nation out of 85 competing middle schools in the Question Unlimited 3-2-1 online
quiz competition.
Advisors John and Sandy Packis lead the Academic Challenge teams.
